Angela has been involved in the paper crafting community for over 14 + years. Her crafting journey began with a simple scrapbook kit and it exploded from there. She lives in Greenbrier, Tennessee with her supportive husband (that loves the crafty tools as much as she does) along with her only daughter, 3 cats and one Chihuahua mix dog that thinks she is the queen of the house. As her creativity grew, she was fortunate to have a local scrapbook store just blocks away from her home. The LSS was her outlet to teach in a classroom setting to many different women of all crafting skills. She taught to both to local schools, crafting crops and various other social events pertaining to crafting. A love of sharing, a passion for teaching, and an eclectic whimsical design style drives Angela’s creative endeavors and characterizes her work.
Being dubbed the “Scrapper of All Trades” or " The Bling Queen", her vast dabbling in many different mediums, lends her to share her Southern personality with a dash of humor, a hint of shabby chic, a pinch of fantasy with a pot load of the unexpected. Angela strives to try new things and pushes the envelope. What makes her style the most sought after is her affinity for learning and creating techniques that are quick, affordable and accessible to any crafter at any level. Her outlook over the vast pond of the crafting industry is that it will always have a continual learning process that introduces new and seasoned crafters with new styles and journeys. To “Craft it forward” is the only way that the crafting industry as a whole can continue to grow and become more exciting. To be a part of that connection enlightens and heightens her creativity and drive to cast her ripple across the crafting community. Being able to share her passion about paper crafting with others is Angela's dream job and she is thankful for every moment she's been able to spend and share her creative process to those that share and respect her profession.
Angela launched herself online July 2010, promoting certain products, companion blog, a forum and a LIVE streaming craft show solely online through social marketing, As a result of her efforts and techniques, she has grown her fan base of respected crafters that believe in her work and designs. As she reaches for her goals, she strives to be published in top publications and books, to have her own scrapbook paper line, to jump start a new online store, and to work with professional companies and manufactures by bringing her design style to them with a Southern twist. She's been fortunate enough to be a Professional Designer Member of the Craft & Hobby Association.
When she's not paper crafting Angela enjoys reading, visiting local crafts fairs and shows with her awesome friend Lola, skyping with her crafting girl friends that are miles away chatting up the latest trends and gossip with each other, watching reality shows on Bravo and the Green Channel, and staying in watching movies with her family and her fur babies at her side.
